I had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent and just what I needed after a long hot day on a motorcycle, the beer was cold to! My ground floor room allowed me to park the bike right outside and keep an eye on it and on request I was also provided a more secluded room that meant the bike wasn't easily seen, the staff were really friendly and helpful room felt recently refurbished and the shower was fantastic - excellent all round stop when heading further south.

Room small but good enough for our 1 night stay. Very clean. Everything we needed was provided. Staff very welcoming and spoke good English which was very helpful for us. Acceptable bar. Good meal. Did not take breakfast as had an early start for onward journey. Prices of everything were very reasonable and excellent value for money. Location was very convenient to our route of travel going onwards in a northerly direction. All-in-all it was ideal for our purposes.

This is a very nice hotel. Very basic, but for its price excellently suited. Breakfast is good, and I had a nice dinner there as well. The hotel is on the outskirts of Bagneux, with easy access to the motorway, which makes it ideal for those passing through. Getting to Saumur city centre is also very easy, just turn right off the hotel's street and it is a straight shot to Saumur and the river. As a tourist, you should have all the possibilities.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant (while kept very busy!). The breakfasts and evening meal were very good. The room was comfortable and clean and a good size with parking right outside which was handy for us. The terrace has a good view of the chateau in the distance. Good location for a few nights and we were able to cycle around Saumur and to Fontevraud, so a very decent base.

Staff were very helpful. Good evening meal available with the opportunity to have supper on the terrace overlooking the chateau. Reasonable breakfast. Great to have kettle and coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
